BCMAP will spearhead standards development and awareness on the same. The forum will encourage and foster the achievement of the following:
- Enable the acquaintance of practitioners of the same interest and profession.
- Maintain high ethical standards of the profession; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each member’s occupation as an opportunity to serve the industry where they belong;
- Promote and influence the development of local standards for the practice of business continuity and disaster recovery management.
